Balancing Work and Family in Jewish Nonprofit Organizations (2001)

A report of the research project set out to investigate the tension Jewish communal professionals experience between the demands of their jobs and their private lives. The research, conducted by Sharon Wolf, Ph.D, shows that while professionals experience considerable stress from trying to balance their work lives and their private lives, management does not consider this a priority issue, and feels that individual accommodation suffices to deal with whatever problems exist.

To order, email PJA at office@pjalliance.org. Include your mailing address and the number of copies you would like to receive. $10 each (plus shipping and handling)
